Riad decor

The Riad Karmela is an 18th-century Riad restored in the Moroccan tradition with the Zouac-painted ancient doors, four orange trees in the middle of the patio and the fountain in Fes Zellige tiles. The artisans have respected the authenticity of the typical traditional construction materials such as the Zellige tiles, taddelakt lime plaster, sculpted cedar wood, stucco, painted wood, and adobe earth walls. The Riad Karmela and its furnishings meet 4* standards in Morocco and at international level.
For the Riad Karmela Princesse , Joël opted for a modern adaptation highlighting traditional Moroccan materials including the wood (Moucharabieh), Fes Zellige tiles, crafted and hammered copper, woven wool (Boucharouite rugs), taddelakt lime plaster and cement tiles. The furnishings meet 5*luxury boutique hotel standards in Morocco and at international level.
The riad PETIT KARMELA is another riad opposite the Riad Karmela. It has five bedrooms and suites with room for 10 to 12 people. Its furnishings are in the 3* category.
Dinners at the Riad Petit Karmela are served at the Ria d Karmela either on the main patio during winter or on the terraces from May onwards.
Exclusive hire of the whole riad can be made for family reunions, seminars, conferences, etc.
These three riads comprise 34 rooms (19 + 5 and now an additional 9 rooms) in total
